Come swap your old styles for new ones! Go Green La Grange will accept all seasonally appropriate footwear to share with the community. They will also accept unusable shoes to be donated and repurposed.

Bring your treat to share while we discuss the cookbook of the month. Register and pick up a copy of the cookbook at the Adult Services Desk. Visit our website for monthly titles.

After school on Wednesdays, drop by the Dierkes meeting room on the lower level to hang out with friends, play games, enjoy snacks and more!

Do you want to make the world a better place? We’ll read a book about someone who made a positive impact on their community, then explore the topic through discussion, and a game or a craft.

Grades 3-6

Whether novice or expert, you’re invited to join us for an afternoon of chess. We will be on hand to teach you the game or offer strategies to boost your skills. Time will be available for instruction and for match play.

Make a cute seasonal party favor to enjoy or give as a gift. Use our Cricut machine to make a personalized tag for your pumpkin favor.

Calling all future community leaders in grades 7-12! Build life skills, boost wellness and make a difference through service learning, workshops and fun events. Project-based service hour opportunities available.

Snuggle up to some great stories and songs! If you’d like, wear your P.J.s and bring something to cuddle.

Stop by the Library to read to a specially trained dog for 15 minutes. Reading time is a one-on-one experience as it provides an opportunity for each child to read aloud without being critiqued.

Meeting of the Library Board of Trustees. The public is welcome.

Discuss a diverse mix of popular fiction featuring a variety of authors. New members are always welcome! Copies of the book will be available one month prior to the discussion.
