Bring a pillow, a snack, and a friend or two  for a movie on our big screen.

Presidents often have pets; typically cats and dogs. Learn about the variety of other animals that have lived in the White House, with special focus on which presidential families kept the most exciting pets!

Stop by the Library to read to a specially-trained dog for 15 minutes. Reading time is a one-on-one experience as it provides an opportunity for each child to read aloud without being critiqued.

Kids and their caregivers are invited to enjoy stories and songs under the sun. Bring a blanket to sit on for summer fun at Kiwanis Park.

Try out being a librarian and have your own display for a month!

Animal stories come to life through reader’s theater!  No acting experience needed; just come ready to imagine, play and enjoy some wild stories featuring favorite animals.  Early reading skills would be helpful for this program.

This drop-off storytime will give kids ages 4-6 the chance to keep up on school year skills and independence with fun stories, songs and crafts. Join us for just one session or all four! 

Make a glistening, armored dragons eggs out of Styrofoam and pushpins.

Snuggle up to some great stories and songs! If you’d like, wear your P.J.s and bring something to cuddle.

Got something to say, sing, or share? Step up to the mic at our Open Mic Night! Whether it’s a story, poem, song, rap, or joke, we’d love to hear it. The first 15 people to sign up will get up to 8 minutes to perform.
