Storytime introduces children to early literacy skills through half an hour of stories, activities and songs.  All storytimes are drop-in but space is limited to the first 20 children and their caregivers.

Do you want to make the world a better place? We’ll read a book about someone who made a positive impact on their community, then explore the topic through discussion, and a game or a craft.

Grades 3-6

Whether novice or expert, you’re invited to join us for an afternoon of chess. We will be on hand to teach you the game or give you strategies to boost your skills. Time will be available for instruction and for match play.

Stop by the Library to read to a specially trained dog for 15 minutes. Reading time is a one-on-one experience as it provides an opportunity for each child to read aloud without being critiqued.
