Join us for musical fun with your little one! Tiny Toes Music features fun songs, dancing, a storybook and instrument activities especially created for young children. 

Ages birth-5. Older siblings welcome.   

Stop by the Library to read to a specially trained dog for 15 minutes. Reading time is a one-on-one experience as it provides an opportunity for each child to read aloud without being critiqued.

Join us for a spring storytime filled with blooming tales, lively songs, and fun rhymes to celebrate the season of growth and renewal!

Try your hand at being a Kid Librarian! Each month, four kids will get their own display, including a decorated flyer, books, movies and games from the Children’s Department that fit their interests.

Join us at Sedgwick Park (10th Ave & 48th St. La Grange) for simple activities and play!  From 10:00 to 10:45am, enjoy a performance and family-friendly fun.

Instead of calling numbers and letters, we'll call out Pokémon. Mark your squares with M&Ms and try to catch a Bingo! No Pokémon Master-level knowledge is necessary — everyone will be able to play.

Get the knowledge and confidence to care for children safely and responsibly. You’ll earn a certificate of completion at the end of the second session. Attendance at both sessions is required for certification. 

Enjoy a morning of hands-on sensory play featuring our pets.  Stop by each station for a multi-sensory experience and create a pet-themed craft. Be prepared to get a little messy as we play, explore and have fun.

Go on exciting Minecraft adventures hosted by Arrayscape Gaming! This month, embark on a high-stakes adventure! Explore mysterious islands, outsmart cunning traps and engage in epic naval battles with pirate ships.

Try out being a librarian and have your own display for a month!

Stories come to life through with reader’s theater!  Come ready to imagine, play and enjoy some wild stories featuring some of our favorite animals. No acting experience needed, but early reading skills are helpful.

Snuggle up to some great stories and songs! If you’d like, wear your P.J.s and bring something to cuddle.
