Battle of the Books: Library Edition

Registration: June 2-June 30

Competition: Wednesday, July 30, 11:00am-1:00pm, at La Grange Park Public Library

Grades 5-8

Level up with edible pieces Bingo! Play for a chance to win a prize from our prize bag, and even if you don’t win, you can still eat your Skittles at the end of the game.

Grades 5-12

Join us at Sedgwick Park (10th Ave & 48th St. La Grange) for simple activities and play!  From 10:00 to 10:45am, enjoy a performance and family-friendly fun.

Instead of calling numbers and letters, we'll call out Pokémon. Mark your squares with M&Ms and try to catch a Bingo! No Pokémon Master-level knowledge is necessary — everyone will be able to play.

The whole family is invited to make gift bags and cards for Caitlin's Smiles!, an organization that encourages children with serious health challenges to explore their uniquely creative talents by taking part in arts and crafts activities.

Upgrade your wardrobe with colorful tiedye! Bring one cotton clothing item and we’ll provide the rest.

Stop by the Library to read to a specially-trained dog for 15 minutes. Reading time is a one-on-one experience as it provides an opportunity for each child to read aloud without being critiqued.
