Join our group for a fun and rewarding volunteer experience with a local community service partner, the Children’s Community Closet, located at 500 E. 31st, La Grange Park, at St. Michael’s Church.
After school on Wednesdays, drop by the Dierkes meeting room on the lower level to hang out with friends, play games, enjoy snacks and more!
Calling all artists! Stop by the Library and create an original piece of art using a variety of materials available for self-directed creativity. Finish your project by the end of the hour or bring it next month for completion.
Sip, sample and explore! Warm up with a variety of hot chocolate flavors, then “taste” a curated selection of exciting new and popular books. It’s a great way to stock up for Winter Reading or get holiday gifting ideas.
What does it means for us to have ICE, Border Patrol, and the National Guard in our Communities? What are the rights of immigrants, protesters and residents? What can we do to protect our civil rights?
Create beautiful stars using paper bags! Participants will make two stars, perfect for the winter season.
Need a quiet place to hit the books? Teens are invited to use the large meeting room to study at the Library December 16-19. We’ll provide WiFi, snacks and plenty of room to spread out and study.
