Week Calendar

Whether you are an experienced gardener, or this is your first season, stop by and exchange seeds! All are welcome. Please have all seeds in labeled envelopes.

Join us as a storyteller shares books and rhymes in Spanish. Children will learn Spanish words with the help of engaging stories and an emphasis on repetition for children’s developing minds. The storytime includes games and crafts.

Scams and fraud, especially online, can be confusing and concerning. Join this group class to learn the fundamentals of protecting yourself.

Offered by the DuPage Children’s Museum, Running Behind PopUp gives early learners a chance to solve problems, think creatively, and work together through fun, themed activities.

Welcome all tweens and teens! Wednesdays after school, drop by the Dierkes meeting room on the lower level to hang out with friends, play games, enjoy snacks and more!

Whether novice or expert, you’re invited to join us for an afternoon of chess. We will be on hand to teach you the game or offer strategies to boost your skills. Time will be available for instruction and for match play.

Snuggle up to some great stories and songs! If you’d like, wear your P.J.s and bring something to cuddle.

Celebrate Earth Day at the Library with a hands-on, get-your-hands-dirty project! Turn old newspapers into little plant pots, then fill them with seeds that will bloom into bright summer flowers. 

Grades 6 through 12, drop by on the third Tuesday of the month for a casual crafting session set up in the Teen Room on the second floor. Invite a friend, make your craft and feel free to hang around afterward.
